quick!

would there be any problems with running a JL 10W3 2 ohm with a JL 10W3 4 ohm off the same amp?

Yes. If you run them in parallel you get a 1.3 ohm load. Most amps can't handle an impedance that low. If you run them in series (or parallel) the 2 ohm sub will be getting twice as much power as the 4 ohm sub. This can be a problem if the subs share a common enclosure. I think it was Dave Navone that did an article several years ago about how it's not a good idea to mix and match sub-woofers like this. Even if each sub has it's own enclosure there is no guarantee that their outputs will combine together properly for good sound.
