When you guys replaced your HU in your Bose equipped camaros and firebirds, what kind of adapter did you get to make your factory Bose amp work?

And is it just a plug and play situation or is there some wiring involved?

I just bought a new Kenwood today and the guy gave me an adapter that is as follows:

Metra gsxL General Motors 1988-2004 (21 pin)
part number 70-1858

I dunno, I was told there was a special adapter that was needed to make the factory Bose amp work with an aftermarket HU, did i get the right piece???
