Pass. Boston comp. system doesnt work

Don't know much about Speakers and such.

I bought them from a buddy about a year or 2 ago. Got them installed, and a coupla weeks later, the pass. side started cutting out, then just stopped working. Took it back, they fixed it, same problem later. This was a while back. I finally got around to looking at it. The tweeter wasn't hooked up, and the speaker didn't have power.

So, I went over to my buddy's house, and started talking to him about it. We went and took a look at it, and hooked up the tweeter, nothing. We thought maybe because the speaker didn't have power or somthing. He told me to hook the speaker up, and it should work. Also, one of the wires came out of one of the butt connectors.

So i get the speaker, and put one connector on, and touch the wire to the other terminal, and nothing, whatsoever....it should work when i do that, correct, i shouldn't need a butt connector for it to work, right. Not getting anything, no humming, no sound, from the tweeter, or the woofer.

Is the power box thing fubared, or what????

I was going to send an email to bostom asking if they would warrenty it, but figured i'd ask here first. I figure they wont warranty it, but it cant hurt to ask
