is it okay to run these at this ohm level?
sup, i've got a question about my system. i'm running two pioneer gm-5100t amps like this: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...etailComponent one for each of my subs. my subs are dual 4 ohm voice coil 1000w max 400w rms. now for the questions:
1.) i'm not too good at ohm loads and all that so is this amp 2 ohm stable when bridged to 1 channel?
2.) if its not, what would happen to the amps if i did run them this way?
3.) should i just run the amp bridged at a 4 ohm load and if i did how would i have to wire the subs? i know how to wire down to an 2 ohm load but not 4. maybe i do and just don't know it lol.

1) No When that amp is bridged it must be connected to a 4ohm load minimum.
2) The amp would probably go into thermal protection mode and shut down.
3) You need to get subs with dual 8ohm voice coils. Then you can wire the voice coils in parallel to make each sub 4ohms.
OR
Keep the subs you have and get 2 class-D mono amps that can handle a 2ohm load.
