ok i was just playin around in my truck so i hooked my sub directly u[p to my interior wire. and turned it up a lil bit then BOOM smoke from the dash. so then i was like crap another deck fryed. so i took the sub out . i took back my deck and got a brand new one a DEH 4400 i had a 3400 but they were sold out so i payed 40 bucks for a new one. went home installed it STILL no sound. i took one of my fronts out cuz they are the easyest to come out. and brought it inside and hooked it up to my home sterio and it seemed to work fine so im assuming all my others arwe fine too. Does any one have any idea what the heck is going on.

 

Have you checked all your fuses?

maybe some fried wires,

 

well the rear end blew up so i guess i got time to look in to it. or i might let the guys at Best Buy figure it out.

 

I have a feeling a lot more fried than you think if your dash was smoking that quickly so I think you have a much bigger problem than you think...if you don't want to take the time to figure it out then let someone else do it...but my guess is that there are many fried wires and fuses in there somewhere
