New Stereo Enclosure!
New Stereo Enclosure!
Well here's the pictures of my new stereo enclosure.

Everything on this setup was designed so it can be taken apart easily. The face panel over the amp comes off to expose the wiring underneath. The amp rack is a seperate piece from the subwoofer box and comes out easily without having to pull the subs out. More pics in the cardomain link in my sig.

Re: New Stereo Enclosure!
I dont know if you were looking for comments or not but here goes......
Brilliant job on the rear part of the stereo! If the piece where the amps are mounted went all the way to the back of the car(around the subs of course) it would like 100% professional!
Whatever the thing sticking out of your cig lighter is looks like doo-doo. Find a different way to run whatever that is.
Im not a fan of painted interior pieces......but if thats your thing.......
Very, very nice job overall!!

I would imagine so, all the cooling fins are exposed on the top there...I also don't really play it that loud a whole lot anymore. The back side of the amp rack is also open so there's a gap between the seats on the sides where air can get in and out. I may put some fans in there if needed, but I don't think it would be an issue.

Actually the cooling fins aren't that large and there's only three rows of them on top of that. I've played the system for the last couple weeks and haven't had any issues with it. Still, if it comes down to it, I could put some fans in there but I don't see the need right now.
