I have a 93 camaro z28, i am having problems hooking up a new deck, i took out the old factory deck and wired in the new one, the power goes to the deck but the speakers dont work, i am almost positive that i have it wired right to each speaker, i got a diagram from installdr.com, when i hold the wires up to a speaker it works but when i go through the other wires it doesnt, there is no noise at all, not even static, what is the problem? i dont really want to rewire the whole car or pay anyone else to do anything for me, need help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

hook up the blue wires...

or the blue on the aftermarket deck to the pink (if you chopped the plug)

 

i had the same problem hook the remote wire and the power antenna wire together and it will work hope that helps

 

You must have a BOSE system then. That the two prevous posts are telling you to do is hook up the turn-on lead to the BOSE amp. Without hooking it up, you get NO sound. Do that and you should be good to go.
