I like my current system the only problems with it is that the base doesn't hit hard enought and when I want to crank it up once I get to a certant point on the volume dial is really becomes distorted and nasty sounding. I have a Kenwood excelon KDC-X569 deck. 4 infinity 6002si 6 1/2" speakers, one in each door and one in each b-piller. 250 watt mtx amp, don't know what seires off the top of my head. And 2 JL audio w0 10's in a prefabed sealed box. Like I said at the moment the current set up sounds alrihgt its just doesn't go loud enought for my taste or hit hard enought. Before putting the new system in I'm gonna be adding a high out put alt. upgrading the wires from the battery '+' to alt., and body to battery '-' along with a yellow top before the new system goes in. I bought a hand made box for my camaro and its all ready for the subs and ready to be installed in the car. Its a totaly seal box with 1.25 cubic feet of air for each 12" sub. I know I"m gonna need a bigger more powerful amp to power the two 12's. I'm not sure if my current deck will be able to handle the new set up. Will the speakers I ahve be able to handle what I want or will I need to upgrade? Capcitor? I'm more than willing to spend good money on name brand componits. I like JL audio so I was thinking of getting the subs from the just I don't know what series to get. I just don't want to buy something and it not work or not give me the performance that I want. All this sterio stuff is all over my head I can't make heads or tales of all the numbers and what they mean.
