Question Need help with Ohms for new subs

I'm about to order a new setup for my Camaro. I'm going with Kicker L5's powered by a JBL 1200.1. Question is, with TWO of these subs, (12") would I want to get dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohm voice coils to pull two ohms from the amp? I want to use this amp to it's full potential. Also, a wiring diagram for how to wire the subs to get this load would rock too. Thanks in advance! -John

You will want the dual 2 ohm version. Wire the voice coils in series, then wire the two woofers together in parallel. This will give you a 2 ohm load nominal.
