But that leads back to a fiberglass in dash....which would be much more costly than a flipout if you didn't do it your self. And even if you didn't fiberglassing a dash is a hassle.

I don't even know where to start on fibering the dash on an 4th gen. You can't just take the HU and AC controls at and fiber on up with a TV cuz u gotta relocate the AC. But you could fab up a headrest monitor above the AC controls and re-locate the HU into the center console.

O boy that'd be a busy project....

Make a bracket for it, you would have to move it in and out yourself, but it could work.

You can use actuaters on the bracket. But once again takes some good knowledge and time.

Steeringwheel? Lol....that actually wouldn't be a hard project if you know fiberglass.

I really do like the steering wheel idea other than the fact that I wouldn't know how to wire it without the wire getting worn out from the steering wheel being turned. how well does that airbag work because I'd hate to have to disconnect it for a screen

I wonder if there would be a way to keep the airbag and have a screen there. I'd have to rig it some way to where the screen wouldn't get blown into my face. Because having a screen isn't really worth dying because I didn't have an airbag.

Airbags don't save your life IMO, seat belts do. They basically lessen the impact on your neck, which really I think your neck already jerks by the time you hit the bag.

Other wise, no it is next to impossible and VERY dangerous to keep an airbag and put a monitor there. If you have a collision with the front of the car that screen will come at you withs ALOT of force.

yeah. I wear my seatbelt but I like the extra protection of an airbag. I wonder if I could put a hinge on the bottom/top of the screen so the airbag would just blow it out of the way. hmm. that'd be really hard to test though.

well if you want some good sound you should get some kikker cvr's they give good sound. but if you want a better sound you should probably go for some solo barics L7's they sound good but they will cost you $200+ each. but one should be enough to make alot of noise. buy a 10 inch sub they work better.
