my setup...
im new here but into audio. ive been into car audio for about 4 years now. my first setup was 2 12inch ED k's and a jbl 600.1. ive owned a RE XXX 18 as well. shockers, DEI's, kenwood (BLAH), mtx, Lanzer, and alpines.
after being into audio for such a long time. getting a good sub...****ting out on the amp, i decieded id do this one right. sooo...
my current setup is:
Image Dynamics Idmax 12
Zapco reference 500.1 with symbilink
Jvc HU (forget the model, someone stole my pano 802u ghost face
)
Alpine SPX 137r component speakers up front
the box for the idmax 12 i got on ebay for like 60-70$ i think...just some ****ty prefab. when i first got it it was made for 2 12's my subw ouldnt even fit in it the magnet was so big lol. so i double layered some 3/4 MDF and cut a hole.
heres the results...

the JVC is actually a pretty nice cd/mp3 player. i was surprised. plus its got alot of cool features!

it needs to be covered...i know...

the zapco mounted in the spare tire compartment.

switch i installed next to the cd player, links to the remote wire. cuts everything off. VERY handy.

View looking back. cant tell its there, which was the point.

and thats my car!
