My 6.5" speakers are too small for the rear (backseat) speaker holes?????
I just put 4 new Infinity speakers in the car. The front ones in the door panels fit PERFECTLY, but the rears don't fit in the provided hole. The hole is a little too big. Do they make plates or something to adapt them or should I just keep them 'rigged up' like I have them now. Right now I've only got 2 screws holding each one in place. Thanks in advance.

Make some baffles (IE., A wood ring...O.D. larger than the stock hole and the I.D. equal to the cutout size of your driver) for them to sit in, they are not gonna do any good if they are not sealed....you might as well not even put anything there if you aren't gonna install them right. I will have to do the same thing with my 6.5" midbass drivers I will be installing back there.

Update........the ones I fabbed out of plywood cracked and BROKE. So it looks like I'll be getting the Crutchfield plates. I don't play my music extremely loud but sometimes I get the urge to crank it up. I guess that's what did it. Thanks again guys for all the replies.
