MTX Thunderform not fitting properly

So I've stripped out all of the Bose system hardware of my 95 Camaro and replaced it with aftermarket gear which has been working great for a couple weeks. Now I am trying to install an MTX Thunderform and I can't seem to get it to go into place properly. I can tell its not seated as far back as it is designed to be and seems to be hitting on something, but what I do not know. I tried pulling back carpeting and anything that might prevent it from fitting with no luck. I wired it up and it sounds great, by the way!

Are there any issues with installing the MTX thunderform on cars that originally had the Bose system installed? Any other ideas?

Thank for the help!

are there any brackets ramaining from where the bose sub sat? if so you need to cut those out, take out the carpet insert for the cubby hole and you should be good to go.
