Has anyone ever put one of these in there car????, I have the bose sounds system and I've been told you can't put just speakers in it becuase of the self amp system. Can you replace the sub or how does it work????

Bose uses low impedance speakers with their amplifier modules. Thats why you can't just drop in industry standard 4ohm speakers to replace them. Amar Bose doesn't like people to mess with his designs.

You can however get an adapter to add an after-market amp and subwoofer. The PAC OEM-1 is ideal for this since you don't have to splice any wires. It's a plug and play adapter.

Are you wanting to add an MTX amplified Stealthbox? If so don't. The amplifier module in the MTX amplified Stealthbox is very poor quality. You'd be much better off with a separate amp and subwoofer.
