Monsoon subs to stock sub setup

Monsoon subs to stock sub setup
The monsoon 6.5 subs have 4 wires and the stock ones have 2. If I take the connector out of the stock ones and connect the 2 reds and 2 blacks together will the sub work out or will I start a sire?
