Milhouse and rest of system

Hey,
Im doing a full system for christmas. I want a milhouse box but im not shure weather to go with two 10s or one 12(I listen to lots of rap, country, rock, metal, etc) So i want loud and clear but also something that will pound down low. For a headunit im getting Alpine CDA-7995 and Focal 165V component set then some sorta midbass fill. I am getting the JBL 80.4 for components and Im not shure about subs and sub amp yet.

Any suggestions and info is greatly apprieciated
Thanks
Cgates

I vote dual 10"s for the added output. But how much you really looking to spend on the subs/amp?

Not shure yet im leaning towards the elemental designs 10s. How would these bump with a jbl 1200.1 or 600.1?

Also whats the difference between the alpine 7995 and the newer alpines the 98.. models?

Depends, you want the Kx, the K-Series, O-Series, or A-Series ???

I like my E12A! One is Plenty for me, however its Dual 2 Ohm, which isn't optimal for a Single Sub Setup, makes matching a amp difficult, however the JBL 1200.1 is one ohm stable so it will work with a single 12 from eD.

I would stick with the A Series myself, i think theres too much mixed reviews/thoughts on the O-Series to purchuse one myself, however a infinite baffle setup idea with the Os would be interesting indeed!
