What does it take to get a bare LCD screen only to show video? I have seen a few cheap TFT LCD screens removed from old laptops for sale. They are just the screen only. I would like to get one and then find all the parts to use it as mobile video.

What other parts are needed? Is there some type of card or power supply? How do I know what size/power/type to get?

Here is a link to one that is on sale on Ebay.
Normally they are not this expensive. I watched a 10.8" one close for $25.

I think it needs an invertor for the backlight???? Anyone have any idea? Can this even be done?

Good luck. I've been trying to find out for 3 years. I bought a 10.5" lap top screen off ebay 3 years ago and still haven't found any information.
