keyless entry

I didn't get the remotes when I bought my 94 Z. I know how to program a replacement made for it but im wondering if a keyless entry remote from a 2000 or so Suburban would be compatible. I have the spare remote at home and don't know. thanks

Re: keyless entry

You may want to call a dealer and ask them, but if i recall I know we couldnt use a remote from our 95 tahoe to our 98 tahoe and that was within the same vehicle even

Re: keyless entry

Probably not, but you can try looking it up by the FCC ID number on the spare remote at http://autotechs.com/fcc/fccidsearch.htm
