Just bought System!
Well the hole home theater sub thing was just not lookin like a good idea, so i bought a bazooka amp and mtx sub. I am gonna bridge the 2 channels to run the full 400watts into the one sub, and i just need a little help on how to set it up.
1) Should i set the filter to low, flat, or high, since its only gonna be powering the sub?
2) How should i set up the crossover, its adjustable from 60-400Hz. I really dont understand the whole crossover thing so could someone explain.
Thanks. Steve

1) Since the amp will be used for a subwoofer you need to set the control for low-pass.
2) Set the X-over to 60-80Hz Any higher than that can cause the bass to sound boomy since you are now getting into the lower mid-bass frequencies.

I have a little input for ya. Just because it is a 400 watt amp and you bridge it to your sub, that doesnt meen that your sub is getting 400 watts. Your amp could be making that 400 watts at 1 or 0 ohms and if your sub is a 4 or 2 ohm speaker then it is really only getting about 150 for 4 ohm and maybe, maybe 250 or 300 for 2ohms! just my .02
