Question JBL 1200.1 amp to power 10" L7 solo baric? (older solo)

I've decided to go with the JBL 1200.1 amp to power my dual 4ohm 10" L7 solo baric (older model). I'm going to put it in a smaller box and just turn the gain down. What do you guys think? If possible, please respond quickly because i'm ordering everything in a short while. thanks

yeah, that amp will work good with the sub, just watch the gain levels, cause you COULD blow the sub if you crank it to much.

also, make sure the amp has good ventilation, those amps like to get warm

It will work...little overpowering though. The JBL 600 would be a better fit...unless you plan to add another for the JBL 1200.

I'm going to have it in a small box. I'll turn the gain down. My sub is a dual 4 ohm.

Well i am putting a orion xtrpro 1000 to my L7 12". It will work but you might blow it. Just when you hook it up don't turn it up all the way and you will be fine. But 2 10's for that amp would be better. Plus on the gain don't use it as a volume conrtol, it is used to match the voltage from your pre-amps in you head unit.
