My '95 has the key fob with keyless entry and it has been acting up. If you click the unlock button on the key once (to unlock driver door) it works fine. If you click it the second time to open the other door sometimes it doesn't work (no noise or anything like it's trying). Then other times, very randomly, it will work fine. Then just recently it has randomly started to not lock the doors. When you click the lock button it turns the lights on/off in the car(like it's locking them) but doesn't actually lock the door. If you get inside and do it you can hear the relay (maybe) clicking over near the passenger kick panel, but nothing happens. Then other times it works fine! I know the pickup is over behind the kick panel, but is there also a relay over there working the stuff? Anybody else had this problem and know what causes it?

Sounds like maybe the solenoid in the passenger door is going bad.

Or maybe a loose or bad connection to it pehaps?

 

Door locks work fine when I use the buttons on the door. I'm almost 95% certain this is a problem with the keyless entry electronics down by the passenger kick panel (or wherever it's all located) I just don't know how everything works down there.
