interior speakers...

I got my system all setup, 2 10 inch fosgate HE2s with an 1800w fosgate amp, it pounds pretty well, with bass for stock speakers up all the way, and sub base up all the way. How hard should this be hitting? It seems pretty loud, but I sort of expected more... My rear-view mirror shakes, and both the side ones shake as well when its turned up high. I only turn the volume 20max out of 36 because it sounds horrible with the stock speakers.

Does this sound like its hitting as hard as it should for what I purchased? Im using a subthump box for 2 10s by the way.

What do you guys reccomend for aftermarket speakers? Im looking to get em off ebay or something and not pay an arm and a leg...? I gotta 02 camaro, so I heard there are 6 speakers total to replace? Any help with what to get ect would be greatly appreciated.... Also, will this make it hit harder as well as sound more clear?

Should be hitting hella hard with that kinda wattage, but I'm pretty sure that's not RMS. Should be nearly louder than you can stand.

And yes you'll get alot better sound with aftermarket speakers, especially if you run an external amp on them. Check out Focal's, I like 'em. Adire Koda's are also a nice speaker for the money. How much would you consider an arm and a leg? I'd call that under $400 a pair, but that's just me.

You must get amp for front (after-market) speakers with proper cross-overs.
