Installing XM Commander, have a wiring question:

This install seems easy enough. But, the 3 "main wires" consists of a red, yellow, and black. Obviously the black is ground, that's no problem. My questions are:

1. Can I connect the red directly into the red power wire of my aftermarket radio? Can I do it just by splicing or is there another method that is better?

2.Does the yellow wire go connected to the yellow wire of the unit coming out of the radio also?

This 3 wire harness has a plug that goes into the XM module, but the other end of the 3 wires are just there. I just want to make sure I splice the 2 mentioned above to the right place.

Thanks in advance for the help
