installed new cd player, guage lights quit

installed new cd player, guage lights quit

ok this is in my s-10 not the ta. anyway it's a 2000 model, and i just put a new panasonic head unit in it but now the guage lights don't work wtf???? how do i fix this?

Did you check the fuse box? Where did you connect the HU's power? You may have it connected to a circuit that can't handle the extra load from the stereo.

i bought the gm harness and connected the wires just like they were labled. so i don't know what to do

You can start by checking the fuses.
