My GTI came with a full sound system and the speakers are made my Focal. Never heard of it before, but then again I'm not into car audo. Are these good speakers? or some cheap ****?

 

Well, the manufacturer is a good name, right up there with MBQ.

But Bose is also a good name and the "factory" systems are crap. Most likely they're decent speakers, but they're still the Bottom-line Focal's if they're factory ones.

On the other hand if they're aftermarket speakers, then you have some nice speakes in your car, although they're a little harsh for my ears.

 

I could be wrong, but I don't think ANY cars come with Focal speakers stock. Are you saying you bought it used and it came with a system? Regardless, Focal is a VERY good brand name. Better then ANY brand you will find at your run of the mill stores.... best buy, circuit city... etc.

My friend just bought a 2000 Jetta that has Focals from the factory (or so he says) But he installs Car Audio for a living so I would tend to believe him.

 

Really? Cool. I wonder what line they are..... maybe they are different then the Focal's you and I know.....

 

yea jetta's have a nice stock sytem...it sounds sweet...my bro has one also
