Sweet, sounds like a good setup.

megabass, if I get the box uncovered, just the box itself with no vinyl or carpet or anything, could I get it any cheaper? PM me if you want.

I have the t-top box. Trust me, like said, it works. Infact, I have both my t-tops in my trunk right along with my two 12s.

The tops actually slide down into the trunk area. I put a towel between mine just to make sure nothing scratches. It is a snug fit, so there is no banging, but it's not tight enough to stress anything. Very well done.
Well said

Fyre, where is Huber Heights? You could just come over and pick one up

Huber Heights is near Dayton. 10 minutes from the International Airport in Vandalia where the Trans Am Nat's are held...

Cool deal... so what do you think? Any deals for uncovered boxes or only sold as a whole?

My box.

That's an MTX box that MTX built for F-bodies. It fits well (even with the truck cover thingy up), and holds 3 10" MTX Thunder 6000 subs.

As you can tell from the pic, I can't use my T-top racks anymore. So when I take my tops out, I put the truck flip down, then I use a 3rd gen T-top bag I bought on eBay and put the tops in there. They haven't been scratched thanks to the bag.

Only problem with the bag is there is no real way to secure it...I'm sure if I thought about it, I can come up with a way...but I'm too lazy

Money no object, dual stealths is the best option. I used to run some. Probably will build myself another set when I get the funds to redo my 01. Check out my webshots for a few pics.

Yes, the T-tops fit fine in the bag, and fit fine in the trunk.

There are two little hooks on the 3rd gen bags that I hook up to the trunk lid thing. That keeps it somewhat stationed in the back...the only thing is that it can slide around side to side during a turn. Mine slide around, and they don't hit the sides hard enough to break or cause any damage to the T-tops themselves.

The only downside is that with the T-top rack, you just drop and lock. With the bag, you need to place them in and make sure they are in. This won't affect most people, but for the EXTREMELY lazy, this could get annoying.

I've got dual stealth 10's, driver side from MTX, pass. side from subthump.

Trust me, you can hear them

No t-top issues at all, nothing rattles (well, from the inside anyways)

I've got two 12s. I ditched the spare tire and put the amp in there.
The T-Tops go on the rear deck.
