I realize this subject has probably been talked about many times but i couldnt find a solution to my problem. I am replacing the front speakers on my 98 z28. I didnt know the front speakers were 2 ohms on the stock unit when i bought some 4 ohm aftermarket ones. I know i should replace every stereo component on the car but i cant afford that know. I need to know how i can wire the new speakers in since someone really made a mess of the pass. side wiring . They cut and spliced a 4 ohm gm speaker in and the cone had holes in it. now that i bought some new aftermarket door speakers i find out this car has 2 ohm speakers with 4 wires going to it. any ideas?
