how difficult is it to install an aftermarket CD deck?

how difficult is it to install an aftermarket CD deck?

it's a 1998 and the stock CD player doesn't read the discs anymore. do i need an adapter? also, does anyone know how many watts a stock 6-speaker system would be in this car?

Not sure on the stock watts, but its very easy to hook up an aftermarket CD player. You will need an adapter, but you can get them at any Best Buy or Circuit City. You probably wont notice any sound difference between the stock HU and an Aftermarket HU, the real difference comes when you add new speakers and power them with an amp.
