Hook up amp to non-fading or rear preout put?

Do I need to hook up the amp that powers the subs to the non-fading, or rear preouts on the HU, obviously not the front or AUX, but whats the difference from rear to non-fading. In the HU's owners guide it said theres no loudness effect if your using non-fading? Also the other end of the rca's that hook to the amp should be to the in, or out? Thanks for any info.

A non-fading sub output is just that. Non-fading. If you fade the sound from front to rear, the subs are not affected. I recommend hooking your sub amp to the non-fading output. And the other end of the RCA should be plugged into the "in". The out you are seeing to just a pass through. So you can hook up another amp without using y-spliters.
