High Output Alternator

Hey, I recently installed 2 MTX Thunder 8000 10" subs, and they pretty much killed my stock alternator which I believe was putting out 105 amps.

So my question is, am I going to need a higher output alternator to handle these, or do you think my alternator wasn't running right in the first place? I really don't know much about these car audio, so I really need some opinions on whether or not to get a new 105 amp alt., or get a higher output alt. If I need the higher ouput alternator, where can I purchase this?

Thanks

If you alternator was already on the verge of going dead, than the subs probably suck the fork in it. My underdrive pulleys killed mine is 2 days. If you wanted to get a higher output alternator, any parts store should have it (Pep Boys, ABC, etc.)

If that's the only amp you are running, your alternator must have been bad before you added it. Were your headlights dimming before the alt went out? Shouldn't have been. Not with that size amp.
