got a question about the power antenna?

i bought a power antenna from a 00 trans am and iam going to install in on my 00 camaro, what is that clear rubber line? where does it go to? do i need that rubber line? thanks

The clear line is a drain for any water that might get in there during rain or washing. The one on my car connects to a hole in the bottom of the spare tire area.
