Angry help wiring mess

hi there,

i recently switched my steering wheel for a newer style. i did this for the steering wheel radio controls only.!!!!!

my problem is .... my buttons don't work properly!!!!

i.e : 1. if i hit my volume down buttton, the volume will go up
2. when i hit my play button the volume goes down

it goes on for every button!!!!

how do i fix this, i tried to cut the wires to fin out which ones control which button but, as soon as i cut a wire none of them worked!!!

how do i fix this, should i go buy the newer wiring harness from a newer stereo?

please let me know your ideas!!!!

do you think a audio store like mickey shore can figure this out?
or can i do this myself.

Try finding a wiring diagram for the radio and steering wheel you have, and just mach up the wires, sounds easy good luck, and have fun finding a wiring diagram
