help wiring LED 3rd brake light

i recently purchased a LED smoked 3rd brake light off ebay.. and it didnt come with directions and i dont know to much about electrical. It has 1 red and 1 black wire. When i took the stock one out it had 2 bulbs with 1 white and 1 black wire for each. What do i hook the red and black wires up to? is there something else inside there i didnt see such as a harness or what? any help would be great .. thanks

If the LED unit has built in resistors, just connect it to one of the white/black pairs and cap the wires going to the second bulb so they don't ground out.
I don't have a diagram so I'm not sure which wire is positive, but if it doesn't light up just swap the cables.
