Help, thieves stole stereo and

I had my stereo stolen AGAIN not too long ago. Well I continued to drive, suddenly there is a short draining the battery within 24 hours. I believe the drain was coming from the positive lead from the amp, but when the RIPPED my amp out the wires were broken where they were spliced. I have no idea if these wires are for speakers and where they lead to. Are they factory or where they installed with the stereo. There seems to be some kind of converter box also. I completely removed all speakers and the head unit from the car. Any help you can give would be great. If this isn't the problem, the drain is coming from where I had to splice the damage on my main wire harness, which is frightening.
here's the pics.

Re: Help, thieves stole stereo and

looks kinda like speaker wire going to possibly a hi/lo converter or something, did you RCA's go behind the deck? The way i found the drain on my bird was disconnect the negative battery and attatch one end of a test light to the cable and then touch the probe of the test light on the neg post on the battery, if it would lite up bright then something was on. So i pulled each fuse one by one until the light went off. Turned out to be a drain in my accessory cicuit due to faulty power door lock relay.

Thanks javelin, I did check some wires. Fortunately my car was a stripper. I have no power accessories. I am trying to figure out if the drain could possibly be a burnt out bulb somewhere. I am going to have to go through and find it wire by wire. Urg. I will follow those speaker wires to the source, if they are not factory I am going to just rip them out or cap off the broken wires. I'll see what happens.
