Help me build my stealth box!!!
Help me build my stealth box!!!
I need to build a Drivers side stealth box for a 10" JL Audio W3...I would like it to be just like the JL stealth box or pretty similar! Does ANYONE know the specs or have a diagram of how to build this box and get atleast .5 cubes of air space! I don't have the money right now to buy one from Subthump or JL audio! Any help would be great! Thanks!
P.S. I already did a search and couldn't find anything!

the JL Vantage box is not that expensive and it has .6 cu. ft. of airspace. i say that you should save yourself some time and buy one.
Otherwise get some cardboard and make a mock up of that little space and then figure out some rough dimensions and go from there.. It shouldnt be too hard, but it might take some time.

Hey,
Just take some plastic and lay it down in the area you want to work on. Make sure to leave plenty of overlap. Then take some fiberglass mixture and some fiberglass mat and start making a mold. Once dry you can pop it out and trim off the excess fiberglass mat. You will have to make an MDF ring to hold the speaker in place. But after you do that you can start making your own custom fiberglass box...
Or save the $$$ and the
and buy a box.

Cool....thanks guys! I already made a template out of card board and all I gotta do now is make the actual box! Should be too hard I'll just make it out to be about 1/4 shorter than the template on each side just to make sure it will fit!
