Arrow Headunit's 45W per channel question..

I want to replace my blown front speakers and would really like to run them off the headunit.
I was looking at some MB Quart 6.5 PR62S speakers. They are rated at 100W peak and 50 RMS.

Now my question is, how will this work with a 45W per channel headunit? (Pioneer DEH-P47DH)

I have a 3 speaker Bose setup and the headunit has the Bose bypass harness, so really, it's not using its internal amp right now.
But I guess there's no way to bridge a headunit, is there?
Thanks!

PS. If that won't work. What are my options? I really would rather not buy an amp for the speakers and I don't need bass out of them either (have 2 subs in the back), just looking for something decent sounding. (read stock or better sound )

First off the speakers will run and play fine off the headunit... Mind you dont forget 45 watts head unit power is max power... it probably RMS's at 20-22, Pioneers have MOSFET amps that RMS a bit higher than a normal headunit.

HOWEVER.... Those are MB Quarts, and they really wont sound very good underpowered. If youre looking to run speakers off a deck there are better choices out there, MBs are made for higher cleaner power than an headunit can output. IMO Listen to some speakers.. Some good speakers for headunit power are Infinity Reference, and Alpine Type S.

Oh and never bridge a headunit unless you want to buy a new one

Thanks man!
Could you recommend a specific model from those you listed? I'm really not stereo-smart at all.

absolutely

Alpine SPS-170A

or

Infinity Reference 6002i

Ive owned both series of speakers, I specifically have the Alpines now which I will soon be replacing my fronts with, they are great speakers.

(PS I plan to prove them all wrong and change my TA's Monsoon Speakers out for aftermarket ones! Just because the ohms dont match doesnt mean a more efficient speaker wont sound better!!)
