The 8 would be best.

well if you do end up going with the 10 i might be able to sell you mine . i screwed up when i got mine by not researching at all and got the 2ohm, which sucks because it means i have to run my 600 watt amp at 300 . I cant imagine what that sub would sound like with 600 watts though cause it hits freaking hard right now.

Ahhh, sorry... Yeah I wanted to go with the down firing box, which only fits the 8". I know a guy that wants a 10 though...

Rated max RMS from Kicker is 450 watts I'd imagine an extra 150W is plenty if not too much.

Got everything put in at a friends house the other day. Also put on a set of Hella 700FF lights.

It's not too much. You'll be fine.

I'll put em up as soon as I get it in there. UPS tracking info says your box should be here tomorrow.

Right now I'm using an Infinity Kappa Perfect 10" ...seat belted into the back seat for some temporary bass.

Ahh. That's why the box wasn't in the pic with your other gear lol. Should sound nice once you get it installed. Anxious to see it.

Yep, I'll definitely have pics of that! I'm waiting (not so) patiently for it. Thanks again.

Thumbs up

UPS showed up with it last night after I was gone to work. Typical.

Just screwed the sub down today and threw the box in! Looks killer! Niiiiice construction on that box too. I can't believe it was as cheap as it was. Kudos to Steve and Subthump!

Install was super easy, I didn't even unbolt the seat, I just finessed it in with the passenger front seat all the way forward. Sounds great. Pics to follow soon.

I'm surprised you got it in so easily. That's pretty cool. Can't wait to see some pics though and hear how well it hits.

Alright, here's a few pictures of the box on the way in. Sorry it took me so long to upload them... I had a packed week, something happening every minute.

I took some video of how it sounds, which of course doesn't truely represent the sound, but surprisingly does a better job than I thought. I'll try to upload that somewhere too...

And here it is tucked neatly under the seat:

It definitely does! You build a strong and clean box. The carpet is cut and tacked on nicely, and you can tell the construction is rugged and will probably last 20 years or more.

By the way, the Infinity Kappa that I was using temporarily in my truck is going to be passed down to my little brother... and he has -- a Colorado Crew Cab like his big bro. So I'm going to be getting him a box from you for it in the near future. Just a heads up you'll be getting a order for a 10" round downfiring crew cab box one of these days.
