fosgate sub in stock pillar
fosgate sub in stock pillar
I have a 94 camaro z28 t-top with the stock 3 speaker bose tape deck setup.
I was considering getting
-An aftermarket head unit
-4 6 3/4" speakers (two for doors, two for sail panels.
-one fosgate 6 3/4" sub to put in the pillar in the trunk area where a bose speaker is now.
-an amp to power the sub.
Has anyone ever had this setup before. It seems like a great idea because you'd save space not needing an enclosure for the sub.
I am going to install it all myself

Don't expect to get any real bass out of that 6 3/4". Why? Displacement. It just doesn't have it. Great for a midbass though. If you want bass and don't want to sacrifice your t-top storage area, check out Subthump.
