finishing my system

ok im almost done i just need an amp now, i have a panasonic deck, alpine 6.5s in the doors, and an alpine type R sub with two alpine 6x9's in the box with the sub, (set farther forward behind the seat, now i need an amp to power the type R but dont really have much money left, anyone know of any amps that will power that sub well and not cost an arm and a leg. im looking at a lightning audio. 400 watts. my dad has an amp like this and it does fine. anyone know of any other amps, for a decent price?
thanks

Tell me the 6x9's are NOT in the same box as the sub sharing the same internal volume space.

no they are seperated, we just made it so it looks like they are in the box to keep everything flowing. there are 2 seperate boxes with carpet over the seams to make it look like 1 piece
