Fiberglass Rear Seat Enclosure 85% Done!!!! (pics)

I posted this a while ago but the thread is gone so, I'll post it again. I've finished up the drivers side box and painted it with 8 coats of Silver and 12 coats of clear. The pass. box will be done in a few days.

Good job, I wish I knew how to do stuff like that

EDIT: BTW, I love the amp rack on your 4th Gen on your cardomain site.

It's not hard, this is my first glass enclosure EVER!!! I just did alot of research, which is'nt hard on the internet. Holla at me if you want to try a project.

Only other fiberglass I've done is my t-top headliner in the same car. But wait until I get my 2000 Camaro back outta the shop.

I'll keep updating this thread........

Oh yea, thanks for checking out the 2000 camaro page too. That's coming home soon, and the plan is for an ALL fiberglass and carbon fiber interior

Wow, that looks great. I wish I was that handy. About how many hours do you think you have into that box?

Make it a reality!!!!

You can make one yourself or I could make you one, just send me the measurements and how you want it and I'll come up with an estimate.

OK everybody:
I've done three boxes this week and have 7 more cars to work on so please be patient with me. I've only been glassing for 3 monthst and already have a backlog of work!! But everuone who emailed me or PM'd me about glass work, I will get back to ya. Some people will have to wait until I get my 2000 camaro back and can make molds (January), but I can still make any 3rd gen mold or custom mold.

I'm also making a website to showcase my work (not a cardomain site). I'm also a member of "glassmanscustomforum.com" so my pics will be in the member gallery too (very good site btw). Whew, I dont even see how I get any sleep LMAO.

Man that looks GOOD! I grew up in hand laid dragboats with multi color metal flake gel coats, so I love fiberglass. I have been threatening to try laying something up my self. I want to put two 10s or 12s in the trunk of my 95z but the t-top storage makes this a custom must. I am impressed with your skills with only 3 months under your belt. How do you make your molds? With what?

Later,
Matt
