My wife has a 1998 chevy 1500 standard cab w/t. Pretty much the same as the silverado. Im not going to bother asking her the size of her door speakers and i cannot go out and check because im in iraq. But her stereo is getting old and starting to crap out. So im going to be replacing it for her but while im on my leave. If replace her head unit i might aswel put in some better speakers too. So any help would be appreciated.

 

If they are the same size as what was in my '95 Tahoe there should be a 6.5" woofer in the door and room for a 1" dome tweet in the tweeter location just above the woofer. Assuming of course her truck's door panels are similar to mine.
