does this really have a tracking system which you can track down the person who stole it? and is there any way you can get rid of the tracking part?

 

why would you want to remove the tracking part? something fall of the back of the truck?

you shouldn't buy it if you know it's stolen.

if you can't afford to buy it new wait a year when the price drops significantly. help supporting theft is rediculous. many people do it so i'm not pointing you out but it pisses me off greatly as i work hard to have a nice system, set of wheels or paint job and people stealing not only devalues my parts but raises my insurance and starts a snowball of reactions.

please don't support theft... save up and do it right or don't do it at all.

and to answer your question... no there is no way to disable this part without damaging the radio. that's why we pay a little more for the eclipse unit over the off brand for the extra added secuirty. the penalties are not worth it, go on ebay and save your money there or get an affordable radio.

if you do buy it and it is stolen i hope it comes back to haunt you. KARMA IS A B!TC#....

no... basically with the eclipse units u can set it to a certain CD so that if its ever stolen you cant make it work again until you insert that CD

 

that would be nice. need lowjack just for your radio..
