I just bought a factory monsoon deck and am wondering why it has a seperate amp? Is the deck basically the same as in the 93-96 cars and just that the separate amp makes the big difference. If so, should I get one? There dirt cheap on ebay($20) and how hard would they be to install?

 

Amp should not be to hard if you have the corresponding HU. Otherwise, I think you may run into problems. Also might need new speakers since the amp works at different ohms from the stock speakers.
