is this an electrical problem or what?

my left headlight doesn't work, but if i put on the brights, it does. what kind of problem could this be??? i do have an elecctrical problem with my car, my turn signals don't work, one fog light doesn't work. this is really starting to **** me off. need help fast!!!! i need to get to autozone and pick up a new unit.

can anyone tell me how much and what unit to get?

Yes, you can look the head light and price up at Autozone's site. It's all there. Try it and see for yourself.

notice how my general question is if there is an electrical problem somewhere. the left headlight is out, but it works with the brights on.

I would say you need a headlight, if the bright works and the dim doesn't. The only way to find out is to swap it out. Take the good one and swap it and see if it works. It it works, it's the light. If it doesn't, you'll have to troubleshoot the headlight circuit.
