Re: drycell batteries

I have been running Optima batteries for years. I had to replace my battery every year when I got my car out of storage. Here is a few things I found out about dry cell batteries.

1. They dont like to be over charged.

2. They dont like to be under charged.

3. Most battery chargers will not charge properly with a stereo capaciator installed.

I have finnaly found how to make my dry cell last. Get a good charger and isolate your stereo capaciator.

Re: drycell batteries

i have one of those, 3 actually and i've tried all different combinations. i know companies make drycell specific battery chargers but they are more expensive then just replacing the battery every year.
