Do I have to put in code for stock Delco CD player?

I took out my stock tape deck from my 95TA and I'm getting a cd player from another 95TA.

When I plug it in, will it fire right up, or is there a bunch of crap I have to do to get it to work?

Someone may have put a code in the unit you have bought. If so, it will be locked and won't work. You'd have to get the code from whoever put the code in, or take it to a dealer.
