Electrical problem....need help

For some reason my insturment cluster is pulling power from the power wire to my brakes when the brakes are hit.....as in, you hit the brakes and the insturment cluster lights up dimly and the passenger side brake light goes dim. My Brake! light is on. The 3rd brake light is not working, but I am not getting an ABS inop light either. Power is leaving the brake light switch for the third brake light and for the rear tails as it should.
Any help you guys can give would be appreciated.
