correct dash kit?

correct dash kit?

I keep reading that the Metra 99-3009 is the kit i need, but what are the two things in the middle with the oval circles? Do those just pop out or something? I really dont understand how that supposed to work.

You won't need those parts. They're for use with double shaft style radios. You'll just cut them out so you can use the kit with a DIN style radio.
