Cheapest place to buy electronics?

I am going to be buying in the next few days. Right now I am just looking at Crutchfield. Is Crutchfield reasonably priced? Any place better/cheaper?
Any suggestion on "cheap" CD head unit, 5 1/4 & 6 3/4 speakers? Alarm? I am looking to spend only $150+/- for the head unit, $100 for the speakers and maybe $200 for the alarm. I am somewhat flexible on the prices if the extra costs are REALLY worth it.
I'm not going for decent stereo but I am not looking to go louder than the Borla! No amps, subs, etc...
Thanks for the help.

Ebay is the cheapest place to buy everything. I know a lot of people don't like buying off Ebay. Yes, some people do get ripped off, but when you compare it to how many transactions go on each day..... it's a VERY VERY small percentage. Airplanes DO crash..... but how many fly per day? Just be sure to buy from someone with 1k positive feedback and you should have no worries.
Check out the Alpine 7892 If you're going to spend more then what you wanted, this would be the place to do it. That head unit out preforms many other $400 head units. OUTSTANDING BUY!

Speakers: Is that $100 per speaker? Or $100 for all new speakers? If it's for all of them...... it's gonna be tough.

Alarm: .... unless you plan on installing it yourself (which isin't always easy) I would just buy one from a local dealer. 90% of the time they include installation on all alarms purchased there. If it has starter kill, you should get a discount on your insurance!

If you still don't wanna buy from Ebay. Check out www.ikesound.com and www.cbrstereo.com Both great sites. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Crutchfield is probably one of the most honest and reliable places to buy from. They are also one of the highest.

I can personally vouch for the Alpine 7892 and must say that I am very happy with it's performance and reliability so far, and I highly recommend it, if it's out of your price range any Alpine head unit would be a good way to go (however i think in this case the extra cost is very much worth it).

That place on Ebay is GREAT!! THANKS I am going to save some serious money (to me anyway) on this stuff. They have an Alpine alarm that I am also looking at getting. As with mechanical repairs I don't trust anyone but myself to screw my car up so having the alarm installed is not top on my list. I will likely feel differently after I try it myself but I am atleast going to give it a shot myself.
Thanks again to all for the information.

best places

I bought my amp from ikesound.com and then had a problem with it (a floating ground). I was able to send it back and they replaced it with no problems. Their prices are good too. I found the company on e-bay but they also have a web site. I bought my sub from www.sounddomain.com. Their prices are competitive. Why I got such a great deal is that I price shopped and got them to price match. They matched the price and gave me an extra 10% discount so I saved about $80.00 off of retail.

ya its ok....i had the kenwood 450 watt subwoofer amp running them for a week and now this.....its a lil better but i expected a ton more out of the jbl amp.....its definetly enough for 2 12s....also i only have an 8 gauge power wire cuz i started out wirth a 10 inch mtx sub with hideaway box......so i have to get a 4 gauge and then it will hit harder......and i bough a capasiter too....that i have to install

i did buy a red top altima battery and it helped keep the lights from not dimming as much.....
