Cheap 7" In Dash?

I have a 93 Z28, and I was wondering where I could find a cheap in dash dvd player with a 7" screen? I dont care if it is off brand but the lowest I could find it was $400 buck off of ebay. The bids start at $40.00 but shoot up at the last couple seconds...
Thanks...

you get what you pay for. I wouldn't waste my money on anything too cheap. As an installer I have see a lot of cheap equipment that was too good to be true. The cheapest indash of any kind of quality is either the jensen or dual (basically the same piece). THey both run in the high four to low five hundred dollar range. There was a girl in my shop the other day that bought a cheapo from ebay. It was a manual flip out and did not even have a radio tuner in it. Guess that what you get to save a hundred dollars.

My catalog says the suggested retail price for the DVD9900B which is the current model is $899.00. So at $600 its about right for low retail price. I still would go for a Jensen over the Boss. It can be had for about the same price from BestBuy or Frys where you can actually go see it in person. Also if you have warranty issues, which you will with Boss, you can go take care of them in person rather than dealing with the mail.

Clarion is a far better product than the Jensen. I sell more of them than any other indash I offer. We sell if for around $900. I like the way the I-pod works with the clarion better than others. If you can get a good price on that thatw what I would go with. Current model number is VRX765VD.
